Neuropsychiatric Imaging Research Laboratory (NIRL) is a joint effort of the Departments of Psychiatry and Radiology at Duke University Medical Center.

We analyze magnetic resonance images to research numerous psychiatric disorders including depression, bipolar disorder, and post traumatic stress disorder.

We also develop new methods for MR image processing to improve quality and reliability of research in the field of neuroimaging.
