Planes in MR Imaging
MR Images can be taken in any direction that gradient magnets are applied in relation to the main magnetic field.
Following images represent axial (left), sagittal (center) and coronal (right) views of the brain. Note that images represent T2, Proton Density and T1 Images respectively.
