Geriatric Depression: Prognostic Factors

This study utilizes diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) to identify alterations in white matter structure related to late-life depression. This study will examine structural differences in the white matter between depressed and nondepressed subjects. It will also examine how these changes may be related to short-term outcomes of treatment with antidepressant medications.
